Green Climate, Green Economy

The Green Climate, Green Economy Project was implemented in 2016–2017 under the Civil Society Dialogue Programme, co-funded by the Republic of Türkiye and the European Union. With the Green European Foundation (GEF), Green Thought Association and Sabancı University Istanbul Policy Center as project partners, it aimed to promote knowledge exchange and lasting dialogue among civil society organizations, academics, and local governments in Türkiye and Europe.
Climate Change Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience

Within a green economy framework, the project developed concrete policy recommendations on cities, energy, and land use to support Türkiye’s climate change mitigation and adaptation goals. It focused on adapting good practices from European Union countries to Türkiye’s local conditions. Alongside visits to Brussels, Çanakkale, İzmir, and Bursa, three workshops were held on cities, energy, and land use.
