Towards COP31
Through this project, IPC contributes to informed and inclusive discussions on key COP31 themes, including climate diplomacy, energy transition, climate finance, just transition, and implementation, while fostering dialogue among national and international stakeholders.

COP31 Insights 2: After Santa Marta: Building the Fossil Fuel Transition Agenda in Antalya
The second event in the “COP31 Insights” webinar series, organized as part of IPC’s preparations for COP31, took place on July 21, featuring Ümit Şahin from Sabancı University–Istanbul Policy Center (IPC), Neil Grant from Climate Analytics, and Natalie Jones from the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD).
Paris-Antalya Podcast 4: COP31 and the Rights of Mother Earth
The fourth episode of the "Paris Antalya" podcast series which brings together different perspectives in the run-up to COP31, was released on July 1. The episode titled "COP31 and the Rights of Mother Earth (COP31 ve Toprak Ananın Hakları)", featured Serkan Köybaşı as the speaker and Ümit Şahin as the moderator.

IPC, together with Chatham House, E3G and ECCO, hosted the side event “From Bonn to Antalya: Accelerating Implementation and Just Transition through the COP31 Presidency" on June 10 in Bonn.
Paris-Antalya Podcast 3: COP31 and Human Rights
The third episode of the "Paris Antalya" podcast series "COP31 and Human Rights (COP31 ve İnsan Hakları)", which brings together different perspectives in the run-up to COP31, featured Seda Yurtcanlı Duymaz as the guest speaker and Ümit Şahin as the moderator and was released on May 20.
COP31 Roundtable Meeting
A roundtable organized by IPC as part of the COP31 Dialogues took place on May 14 at IPC Karaköy. The meeting aimed to foster dialogue between Türkiye’s COP31 Presidency and international climate NGOs. During the meeting, the COP31 Presidency presented its preparations for the summit, which Türkiye will host in Antalya in November.
