IPC and Tarih Vakfı continue to organize the monthly "Minerva Talks: Istanbul in History'' series. The discussion titled ''Marginality and Space in İstanbul in the Early 19^th Century'' moderated by Ayşe Köse Badur and Ayşe Özil, was delivered by Işıl Çokuğraş on December 28 at IPC.

In the second of the "Society and Disaster Risk Management" seminar series our Director Fuat Keyman initiated to raise awareness on disaster risk management and post-disaster response methods, the IPC director talked about the situation in the region after the earthquake and the contribution of civil society with Mert Fırat, artist and co-founder of Needs Map, and Güneşin Aydemir, Member of the Strategy Board of Buğday Association.

Our Director Fuat Keyman spoke on “The Turkey of Cities and Living Cities: Democracy, New Locality, Vitality” at the Second Century Economics Congress organized by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality.
