Annual Press Roundtables
SHURA held two press conferences in 2024, one in January and the second in December, bringing together representatives from national and sectoral media to review Turkey’s energy transition developments in the previous year and share projections for the year ahead. During the two conferences, SHURA Steering Committee Chair Selahattin Hakman and SHURA Director Alkım Bağ Güllü provided insights into Turkey’s progress in energy transition and highlighted SHURA’s ongoing work in this field.

Alkım Bağ Güllü, has graduated from ODTU, with a bachelors degree in International Relations following a Masters Programme in the University of Keele on the subject of International Relations and Energy Policies.
