COBENEFITS Project Closing Meeting

The closing meeting of the COBENEFITS Project, which was implemented in Turkey as a result of the support decision of the 14th Turkish-German Environmental Steering Committee convened in July 2017, was held in Ankara on 23 June 2022 with the participation of relevant representatives.

COBENEFITS Projesi Kapanış Toplantısı Gerçekleştirildi

The COBENEFITS Project has been carried out for more than four years in cooperation with Sabancı University-Istanbul Policy Center (IPM) and IASS Potsdam and coordination with the advisory board formed by the relevant ministries from Turkey. Technical training programs and scientific reports prepared within the scope of the project provided important technical capacity support for the ongoing climate and energy legislation studies in our country.

During the project, scientific evaluations were prepared in five priority areas, and training programs were organized to determine the social and economic benefits that will arise from the widespread use of renewable energy.
