Online Legislative Participation and Monitoring Training (mecliste.org)

The Legislative Participation and Monitoring Training, held three times a year, was attended by 15 civil society representatives from all seven regions of Turkey, representing different cities and age groups. In the first module of the training, expert trainers presented on the structure of parliament, its legislative and oversight functions, the advocacy cycle, participation in legislation, fake news, and data verification. On the second day, a panel on "Civil Society and Legislative Processes" was held, with the participation of leading lobbyists and advocates from civil society organizations. In the group work module, participants prepared advocacy campaigns and presented their projects to a jury of experts.
