Press Conference: From Today to 2053: How Can Türkiye Achieve Net-Zero Emissions?

At COP30, IPC hosted a press conference titled “From Today to 2053: How Can Türkiye Achieve Net Zero Emissions?” (Bugünden 2053’e: Türkiye Net Sıfır Emisyona Nasıl Ulaşabilir?). The event focused on the key findings of IPC’s new report, Türkiye’s Decarbonization Roadmap Toward Net Zero by 2053, as well as Türkiye’s updated Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC). Moderated by Ceren Ayas, the session featured presentations by Ümit Şahin and Tanyeli Behiç Sabuncu (WWF Türkiye).
