The 2014/15 Mercator-İPM Research Fellow Ethemcan Turhan organized a seminar titled "The Socio-Ecological Dimensions of Coal Production in Colombia, Andrea Cardoso (Behind the life cycle of coal: Socio-environmental liabilities of coal mining in Cesar, Colombia)," was held on November 23, 2015, with the participation of Andrea Cardoso Diaz (Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, Spain; Universidad de Magdalena, Colombia).
Ethemcan Turhan
Ethemcan Turhan is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Spatial Sciences, University of Groningen. He was previously a postdoctoral researcher at KTH (Royal Institute of Technology) Environmental Humanities Laboratory, Division of History of Science, Technology and Environment between 2016 and 2020.
