Turkey After the Elections
The panel titled “Post-Election in Turkey,” jointly organized by the IPM-Sabanci University-Stiftung Mercator Initiative and the Fondation Jean Jaures, took place on June 9, 2015, at Jean Jaures in Paris. The event featured speakers Kemal Derviş, Member of the IPM Board of Directors; Fuat Keyman, Director of IPM; Nihat Berker, Rector of Sabancı University; Işık Özel, Faculty Member at Sabancı University; Münevver Cebeci from the Institute for European Studies at Marmara University; and Nilüfer Göle, Faculty Member at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales and Senior Researcher at Mercator -IPM Senior Researcher Nilüfer Göle.
Fuat Keyman
Fuat Keyman is the Director of the Istanbul Policy Center; Vice President for Institutional Affairs and Social Impact, and Professor of International Relations at Sabancı University. Keyman is a leading political scientist in Turkey and an expert on globalization, democratization, international relations, Turkey – EU relations, Turkish foreign policy, and civil society development.
