Conference on Climate Responsive Urbanism II: Water in Cities

This year’s conference traces cities’ potential in responding to the challenges in the access, use and management of water in the face of climate change. Rather than relying on techno-managerial answers or bidding on market solutions, the conference aims at exploring these issues in a holistic manner, considering social, cultural, political, governmental, technical, and financial aspects of how urban settings serve in climate preparedness.

The “Climate Responsive Urbanism” conference series aims at bringing international academics working on climate change in a shared platform as well as bridging the academia with urban planning practice.
