The event was organized by Mercator-İPM Researcher Çiğdem Bozdağ in collaboration with Jacobs University Bremen, Kadir Has University Faculty of Communication, Center for Media, Communication and Information Research (ZeMKI), and the University of Bremen.

The conference titled “Low-Carbon Development Pathways and Priorities for Turkey,” organized by the Institute for Policy Research (IPR), took place in Ankara on October 22, 2015, with the participation of Senior Expert Ümit Şahin, Bilkent University Faculty Member Erinç Yeldan, and Mustafa Özgür Berke from WWF.
2015/16 Mercator-İPM Research Fellowship Program Welcome Event
The fourth cycle of the Mercator-İPM Research Fellowship Program, launched by İPM in collaboration with Sabancı University and Stiftung Mercator, kicked off with an event attended by researchers and guests of Girişim. The Welcome Event introduced the new cycle's researchers and their topics. Following opening remarks by İPM Director Fuat Keyman and Rüdiger Frohn, a video summarizing the research of Christiane Fröhlich, Defne Kadıoğlu Polat, Çetin Çelik, Peter Mock, Hande Paker, and İlke Toygür, who will be participating in the program during the 2015/16 term, was shown.
