Damla Çakmak
Shura Project Administrative Assistant/IPC Academic and Administrative Affairs AssistantDamla Çakmak received her Bachelor’s Degree from McGill University where she studied Political Science, History and Middle East Studies. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Politics of the Middle East from SOAS, University of London. She completed her second Master’s Degree in International Politics at KU Leuven. While pursuing her academic career she held internships at International Support for Uyghurs, General Consulate of Turkey in Montreal and volunteered with various human rights related student associations.
She speaks Turkish and English fluently, and Korean at an intermediate level.
